Kent and his wife Bernadette moved to North Carolina from upstate New York in 1999. Working for a Large Retail Outfit as an Operations Manager in New York, Kent was looking to pursue a career as a small business owner. After relocating to North Carolina, he went to work for and later bought into a small wholesale accessory company named Cigar Classics, Inc. After successfully running the daily operations as an owner operator for several years, Kent and his partners decided to sell the company to a larger accessory company.

After the sale of Cigar Classics, Kent was searching for his next small business opportunity. When approach by Jim Bendel about the opportunity to join him at Gaddy Waste Services LLC, Kent and Jim entered into several business discussions. Learning that GWS offers competitive pricing, great customer service, and is ready to grow, Kent felt this was the right opportunity for him and decided to join and invest in GWS. As President, Kent will utilize his operational skills to help GWS become more efficient, he will also run the day to day operations and management of the company.

Currently Kent and his wife are proud to call North Carolina home, along with their two children.
